Refund and cancellation policy
This policy applies to deposits and fees for franchise readiness consulting engagements with Orchard Hub Franchise Advisory Pty Ltd.
Scope
We provide advisory consultations (assessments, blueprints, fee reviews, and coaching retainers). We do not sell physical products, software subscriptions, or downloadable courses. Refund rules below relate only to those advisory engagements.
Eligibility for refunds
Refunds depend on how much work has started and when notice is given. Australian Consumer Law rights that cannot be excluded continue to apply.
Timeframe and notice
Cancel in writing to hello@page-orchardhub.click. Notice is measured from the scheduled discovery workshop or kickoff date stated in your engagement letter.
Full refund
If you cancel more than 14 days before the discovery workshop and no substantive document review has begun, deposits are refunded in full.
Partial refund
Cancellations between 7 and 14 days before kickoff typically receive a 50% refund of the deposit after deducting preparation already completed. Cancellations within 7 days generally forfeit the deposit, unless we cancel or we agree a rebooking.
Non-refundable items
Third-party costs already incurred with your approval (for example prepaid regional travel or venue hire for workshops) are non-refundable. Completed written deliverables already issued are non-refundable.
Work already started
Where document review, modelling, or drafting has begun, fees are charged for time spent at the rates in the engagement letter. Any unused prepaid balance may be refunded after that deduction.
Coaching retainers
Monthly pilot coaching fees are billed in advance. Unused weeks within a commenced month are not prorated unless we suspend the engagement for reasons on our side. Future unused months not yet billed are not charged.
Deposits
Deposits secure calendar time and cover early preparation. They are applied to the final invoice when the engagement completes.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule once without charge if you give at least 7 days’ notice. Later reschedules may attract a rebooking fee of AUD 250 to cover planner and travel rearrangements.
No-shows
If key participants miss a booked discovery workshop without notice, the session may be treated as delivered for deposit purposes. A replacement session can be booked at an additional half-day fee.
Refund process and timing
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of written approval. Bank processing times may add several days.
Refund method
Refunds follow the method used for payment (bank transfer or card). We do not issue cash refunds.

Exceptions
If we cancel an engagement for reasons other than your breach of the engagement letter, you may choose a full refund of amounts paid for undelivered work or a rebooking at no extra charge.
